This week, we got our first Experience Board. This board used to announce to all participants how they were engaged and invested in the learning process in Intermediate Level. This informs us about our condition right now. This board shows how the GIGIH committee (mentors or class instructors) really appreciates our process and progress.

My Board Score Experience

Basically, I feel happy about my score until this week. I’m not truly expecting that I will have that score. I think a lot of my friends in the class are better than me.

The score that I get is not number one, but, in my opinion, it is still good and represents my effort on this level. Based on the score that I got, I think I was good enough to participate in class.

However, I believe there are still many aspects that I can still improve. For example, I can still improve my participation in the group chat or live chat in-class meetings, like being more active in answering when a friend asks a question. Another example is more active in-class meetings and on time and give more effort when collecting assignments or weekly reflection.

I believe that my position will be changed to be better at the end of the program. As I said before, there are a lot of things that I could improve to get a better position. Moreover, we still have some time to improve our scores because we still have one week of technical class. So, therefore, I still believe that I can make it to the next level.

For Those Who in The Top of The Board

I’m happy and proud of all of my friends that are in the top position on the board. Because I believe that they were giving more effort than me. As I could see in the class, a lot of them have curiosity and willingness to learn. Besides that, I also see many of them want to share knowledge and teach those who don’t understand.

That makes me happy and convenient to come to class. I think I will learn from their willingness to learn. So, I can be better at dealing with when I find something that I don’t understand.

For Those Who Struggle in Class

During this level, sometimes, I also feel like in a dark tunnel. It could happen when I met with difficult material. However, a lot of participants already understand the material. To solve that problem, I will try to ask a mentor in class or learning the material outside the class.

For those who struggle in class, I think we could have time to relax and have me-time. After we feel fine with their feeling, we could start to evaluate their self. The meaning of evaluation is to start to think about what can we do in this remaining time. This will make us know what aspects that we could improve. Another thing that we could do is think about bad things that we could leave.

For those who struggle in class, you are not alone :)
